Starting Therapy

Beginning therapy is a significant step. Some people come to therapy with a clear idea of what they want to address and achieve, while others feel a general sense that something isn’t quite right. Whatever brings you here, I offer a service where you can speak openly without judgement, and work towards lasting solutions.

What to expect

I provide a confidential, supportive environment, both in-person and online. Through weekly sessions, we’ll try to come to a better understanding of these dynamics, and work together to find solutions and to create change that lasts.

Whether you’re seeking therapy for the first time or returning to it, we’ll find a style and pace that feels right for you.

How we start

I offer an initial free 15-minute phone consultation to discuss how we might work together.

If we decide to continue, we’ll schedule a first meeting to explore your situation in more depth. We’ll consider what has brought you to seek help now, and decide whether to go forward with regular sessions.

Sessions are usually once a week, lasting for 50 minutes. They can take place in person at my consulting room in Bethnal Green, online, or a combination of both - depending on your preference.
